Field Trip

Reptile ZooTyler and Isabelle got to go on a field trip to the Reptile Zoo in Monroe today. Amazingly enough both of the kids got to hold a snake, and they did it without any fear.

there were many reptiles to see, you could even touch some of the turtles (the kids thought that was awesome).

There was only one or two requests for mom to buy a snake or a turtle. I told them I'd be happy to get them one as long as it was a stuffed toy.

ROLLERSKATING!

I took the kids rollerskating for the first time this week. I wasn't brave enough to put on skates myself. I figured if I did the kids and I would all be on the floor.
Tyler was a natural. He started off going a half lap holding my hand and then he took off on his own. There was no catching up to him.
Isabelle took a little more time getting into the "groove" of things. She didn't want to let my hand go for very long but she hung in there like a champ.
They looked so cute out there :)

We wish you a Merry Christmas!

Both the kids had their annual Christmas program at school this year. First was Tyler's. He is in the upper Right corner (back row). There were many highlights, but all in all this was their best song.

Next was Isabelle.

The kids were all so proud and almost too excited to contain.
Merry Christmas!

Christmas is on it's way...

About this time last year we had no idea what was coming. A few days and many inches of snow later we had arrived at Christmas. To my dismay a full year later here we are again! Minus the snow, thankfully. Who knew that when people told me that time flies when you have kids; they were sooooooo right. This year has gone by in the blink of an eye. We've done so much and I can't wait for the new year to begin. But I digress. Here's to a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Our GiGi (aka Nana)

The kids had a special treat this past week when their Great Grandma (G-G) came to visit. My mom got the majority of the pictures but I have a few cute ones of my own.

Not to mention some secret handshaking going on :)
