We wish you a Merry Christmas!

Both the kids had their annual Christmas program at school this year. First was Tyler's. He is in the upper Right corner (back row). There were many highlights, but all in all this was their best song.

Next was Isabelle.

The kids were all so proud and almost too excited to contain.
Merry Christmas!

Christmas is on it's way...

About this time last year we had no idea what was coming. A few days and many inches of snow later we had arrived at Christmas. To my dismay a full year later here we are again! Minus the snow, thankfully. Who knew that when people told me that time flies when you have kids; they were sooooooo right. This year has gone by in the blink of an eye. We've done so much and I can't wait for the new year to begin. But I digress. Here's to a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Our GiGi (aka Nana)

The kids had a special treat this past week when their Great Grandma (G-G) came to visit. My mom got the majority of the pictures but I have a few cute ones of my own.

Not to mention some secret handshaking going on :)

Family Portrait

Thank goodness for my mom wanting to get a good picture of us as a whole family. Usually we get a bunch of pictures of the kids because they are the most active. It made me realize it's funny how easy it is for me to point and shoot when it comes to fun times but I almost always end up behind the camera and so does Aaron for that matter. What a good idea to at least have one picture (every once and a while) of the whole family together. And it sure did turn out cute =)

Evergreen State Fair

So this past weekend we decided to venture out to the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe. We arrived at the fair grounds around 1:00. The kids could see the rides from the parking lot, and so it began. Excitement was in the air. We took a quick ride to the fair gate and headed in.

The kids could barley contain themselves, staring at all the rides they wanted to go on, while daddy went to get the tickets. We did some wandering around as well, which was apparently "really hard" for Tyler. I think it was just excitement and anticipation of what would be around the next corner.

We couldn't have asked for better weather, it was slightly cloudy with lots of sunbreaks and 70 degree weather.

All in all it was a good way to spend our entire afternoon. The kids will hopefully remember it for a while, I know we will.

Hot Fun In The Summertime

Weeks like this past one seem only like a dream once the weather begins to cool down. So of course I have to document them in some way or another. We got to enjoy 90+ degree weather which seems to truly come only once a year. And so, with warm weather comes friends and family to help us enjoy it all the more.

We were lucky to have our families join us for the weekend and here are some of the highlights.

Papa put a parachute onto the infamous water bottle rocket and boy oh boy did we have fun with it!

We got to do some playing in the water too. You wouldn't believe how warm the lake water is until you jump in!

And believe me we ALL jumped in!

Here's to hoping the rest of the summer is just as much fun, if not more. We Loved seeing everyone!

T-BALL Practice

6 Grassy shoes, 4 wet socks, 2 happy meals later we made it through our first t-ball practice.

Of course in true Washington fashion it began to rain 1/2 hour before we had our first scheduled practice. Unsure if we were even going to be able to use the field we continued on down to Mill Creek. Tyler and Isabelle were so excited to be there no matter how cold, windy, and rainy it was. And believe me, it was.

In this clip Tyler is in the middle to upper right corner of the screen on third base then on second(he's in the blue hoodie catching and grounding the balls). He wasn't too into hitting the ball, but he LOVED catching the ball and running to the base and tagging people out. Isabelle is on the sidelines playing with her umbrella.

Preschool

So Tyler had his first Preschool Christmas Program. He was so cute! His little voice belted out every word with so much enthusiasm.

At one point he had to come give me a hug, running out into the audience to say "hi mom".
So sweet.

Here is a snippet of the show:
